Just in case today wasn't terrible enough, Tom Petty went into cardiac arrest and it is unclear what his condition is. He was a hero of mine, one of the musicians I listened to that made me feel less alone. I learned so many of his songs when I was first playing guitar. I was actually supposed to see him play two weeks ago. I can't believe I missed out on that.

I am absolutely heartbroken over the shooting in Las Vegas today. They don't let me donate blood due to my heart problems but if you can, please do today! They can drive it out to Vegas, just go to your local Red Cross. 💔 I created this illustration, which you are welcome to share and use.
